We vow to aggressively defend the constitutional rights of all citizens against governmental abuse. As a result of that promise, our attorneys have taken on clients with unique and often controversial constitutional issues. For example, we have sued the government to prohibit the arrest of homeless individuals, to challenge the constitutionality of a ban on indoor smoking, and to ensure that incarcerated juveniles are receiving adequate access to the courts, education, and medical care. These lawsuits have enabled us to obtain lasting relief for our clients.
