First Amendment Law

The First Amendment practice group at Sirkin Pinales & Schwartz is among the nation’s most recognized and well-respected. Spanning a variety of contexts, from adult entertainment to animal rights protestors to artists to the homeless, we represent individuals and businesses whose free speech rights are being threatened by overreaching government intervention regardless of the content of that speech.

Because governmental censorship often takes different forms, our First Amendment attorneys are skilled in numerous areas of the law. In the past, we have represented clients before zoning and administrative boards, in civil suits challenging the validity of government regulations, and as criminal defendants in obscenity prosecutions.
